I need help

Post Posted: Tue Mar 17, 2009 10:54 am

If you haven't heard Alan and I are working with a advertising co to help them with a website they're doing.
www.netta.com/
I'm gathering trail info for them and we figured this would be good exposure for the club.

I need help finding links to local trail descriptions, stuff here in Northeast TN. No illegal trails of course but if you know where to find some I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

Let me be a little more specific, I'm looking for info on places like Rocky Fork, Buffalo, Greene Mtn, Bumpus Cove etc...
Anybody got some info? If there is nothing out there and you help me write up some trail descriptions they could get put on the Netta website. Once again I'm looking for the legal trails, this will probably be an ongoing project as we gather data.

If you can get a copy of Jim Parham's "Off the Beaten Track" for East TN you will find most of the legal stuff in it. His maps and directions are pretty clear and easy to duplicate.

If you can't find a copy let me know and I will let you borrow mine.

Hey Greg, don't forget about Hampton and the Laurel Fork area. Wish a virus did not eat all my data on that area with mileage to boot. I can see if my brain can recall some of it for ya and I am sure Brian White can hook ya up. After all the club was formed to open the Laurel Fork area trails to mountain bikes. rob

Will work on the Laurel fork area trails for you but it will be slow going cause I have to rack my brain for mileage and may call on some help from ya'll. Rob
