Here is my representation of the map for those of us who are old school and use Internet Explorer. I hope I got it all right

Thanks for the map Greg. It leaves me wondering how they will thin the herd before we enter the singltrack. Lamans' or a loop on the pavement?

Heading up the backside of the HOT the trail is pretty wide. It shouldn't matter too much since you'll be leading the group.

It will be interesting - that is a fairly tough climb.

If you've got nothing going on this weekend and need an excuse to get out and have some good ole fashion fun why not head down to Knoxville for the 11th annual Hill of Truth race. The race is this Sat. but the festivities always start Friday night. The camping is free and your guaranteed a good time. This race if you have never been usually has NTMBA's largest showing. If fact I do believe that we are usually the largest group there taking up a big portion of the field. Even if you don't feel like racing come down hang out ride the trails, there are plenty the course will not be using. There are activities going on all day long, the Huffy jump, toss & burn. I hear Brandon will be coming out of retirement this year to take another stab at the Huffy jump. Anyone have a photo from his original attempt?

There is always a huge bonfire and no one will reprimand you for drinking or getting rowdy. Wink

Friday night preparations

not sure what he's drinking but it looks fruity Laughing

Fat Tire gave away this really cool cruiser last year

cross dressing is allowed and incouraged Shocked

going for an evening swim in the swap is also allowed, he smelled as bad as he looked Black Eye

I know it's hard to see in this photo but there is a band playing, no tickets required

bring your dog and feel free to dress them as hippies

Cool

That first climb off the pavement will thin the herd very well. They started it that way my first year (4 or 5 years ago I think).

This race truly is what mountain biking is all about. If you can't have fun here...you can't have fun anywhere!

Well it appears that Union College will be bringing some Kentucky style to this race.

Looks like two duo teams, one in open money, one in sport class, and one solo racer. We're all pumped about it.

GRT better watch out for that duo team. It's a strong pair Wink
