I just got back from there, Its a swamp again! rain , rain and more rain that started about 3am. It's not a light rain either.
I left at 11:30 and this is what it looked like so far....

GRT just took over 1st in SPORT - 4th overall
GRT lap times staying pretty good, Wormburners slowed way down after dark........

WES! theres a preem for the fastest night lap too (after 9pm), mens and womens $50 bucks each.

There's not going to be enough rain to sink the SS Lamberson, but yall are gonna get/stay wet for a whil;e..
The good news is there are breaks in the rain, and what rain is falling is generally light.

The area marked by the three coolers in the photo was where you were supposed to put your tent!!

Update from Melinda - the rain has stopped , but it is cool and wet and a mudfest. Not many supporters left - just mainly racers. Joe and I stayed home when we saw what was heading that way.
